Appointment Procedure

Mizen Medical Practice operates appointment only clinics. Kindly ring 028-28311 or 028-35148 to book an appointment with our reception staff. You can attend in person to book an appointment if convenient. Appointments are available in all three of our clinics in Ballydehob, Schull, and Goleen.

Prior to making the appointment please ensure you know:

§ which GP you wish to attend,

§ your preferred location,

§ and the day and preferred time.

Our staff will endeavour to accommodate your preference, with the next available appointment. Appointments are allocated at 10 minutes per booking. Some procedures take longer, therefore, if you are able to provide the nature of your consultation, this will enable reception to book adequate time for your consult

In the event that you are unable to attend that appointment cancellation is required.

In the event of an emergency please immediately advise our reception of your location and telephone contact.

MEDICAL EMERGENCY: DIAL 999 if you suspect a stroke or heart attack

In the event of a medical emergency, please inform our secretary of the patients name, location and your contact telephone number. You will be transferred to a doctor or we will return your call promptly

Mizen Medical Practice operates a strict no interruption policy during standard surgery hours (except in the case of a medical emergency) to ensure that the patient receives an uninterrupted consultation with their GP or Nurse.
