TRAVEL VACCINATIONS

Mizen Medical Practice provides a travel health service which includes

advice specific to the region you are visiting
vaccination
malaria prophylaxis

If possible it is best to plan for vaccinations about 8 weeks prior to travel, as some vaccines are administered in three stages

The free website Fit for travel will provide you with some general information on the countries you intend to visit and the vaccinations you may require

Please ring 028 28311/35148 to book a double appointment with reception for your first travel consultation, stating your destinations. There is a charge for your first travel consultation as well as for the individual vaccines required. The reception staff will be able to advise you on the cost of individual vaccines.

In the event of a medical emergency, please inform our secretary of the patients name, location and your contact telephone number. You will be transferred to a doctor or we will return your call promptly

Mizen Medical Practice operates a strict no interruption policy during standard surgery hours (except in the case of a medical emergency) to ensure that the patient receives an uninterrupted consultation with their GP or Nurse.
